I Spent Years Being the Support. This Summer, I'm Receiving It.

This summer will be the first summer since starting my business, and having kids, that I don’t have a full workload.

2019-2021: growing and grinding in my business

2022: mat leave, after having Clara in April

2023: back to work and pregnant

2024: mat leave, after having Finley in February

2025: back to work

Which brings us to the summer of 2026!

I'm no stranger to hiring a team. I've brought on support for both maternity leaves, but under those circumstances I always took the work back quickly after returning.

In December 2025 I made the VERY scary decision to grow my team, not for the sake of having another baby, but to give myself more time to:

Bring more brain space and creativity to my clients practices.

Have more flexibility and bring more presence to time with my kids.

Ultimately create more time for ME.

I am now supported by my amazing team members Anna and Stacey (and Laura, who is currently on her own maternity leave). Having this support over the summer means I have more flexibility around the time of day I work, allowing me to spend more time with my kids!

I'm sharing this because, despite being the support for so many people over the years, I never thought I'd be the one receiving it.

And maybe this sounds familiar! Maybe you've been grinding as a solo practitioner, wondering how you'll ever end your workday at 4pm, stop working weekends, or quiet the endless mental list of things to do.

We all deserve support. And I would love to be that person for you!
